How much does it cost?
Each appointment starts with a occasional consultation (C003).
This consultation is always included and forms the minimum rate of Dental Hygiene-Express.
If the check-up reveals that a professional cleaning is needed, it will be performed by the dental hygienist.
Cleaning is invoiced per block of 5 minutes according to the applicable M rates.

- 🕒 Possible duration: between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on the situation
- 💶 Cost: per 5 minutes, transparent and according to NZa tariff
In practice, this means that the total costs for inspection and cleaning are on average around € 95.
The reimbursement depends on your supplementary dental insurance. You can check with your health insurer what part, if any, is reimbursed.
Invoicing is done via Infomedics, who will send the invoice on our behalf and charge any co-payment to you.

Frequently asked questions
Usually not. Most patients experience the treatment as manageable. If the gums are sensitive or inflamed, it may feel a little tender. We always work calmly and adjust the treatment to your comfort.
Yes, no problem. Dental Hygiene Express is meant precisely as an approachable appointment - even if you are not (yet) a regular patient with us.
No. For an initial assessment of gums and oral health, and for the cleaning itself, X-rays are usually not necessary. Only if there are specific reasons to investigate further, we always discuss this with you first.
That depends on your supplementary dental insurance. We recommend checking with your insurer what is covered in your package.
If we notice that more time is needed than planned, we will discuss this with you immediately. We can then, if possible, extend the treatment (always in consultation and according to NZa rates) or a follow-up appointment schedule.
